What type of training do you offer?
I offer positive reinforcement-based training including a wide range of topics: basic new puppy commands and socialization, general obedience, working through behavioral problems like barking and jumping and leash pulling, preparation for the Canine Good Citizen test (for which I am also a certified evaluator), and even potentially training your own service dog. I do not, however, specialize in aggression.
What area do you offer private dog training lessons in?
I live in Zeeland and will travel anywhere within 20 miles for no additional charge. Clients wanting to do lessons outside that radius are welcome to contact me regarding pricing and I may add a small travel fee.
Where are the lessons held?
Generally speaking, we'll typically work in your home (the least distracting environment) until your dog has mastered the desired commands there. Those wanting more advanced training in more distracting environments will transition to meeting me at local pet-friendly places like parks, pet stores, etc.
How long are your sessions?
A typical session lasts for one hour.
How much do you charge?
My current rate is $55 per one hour lesson, not including any applicable travel fees for locations outside the 20 mile radius of my home in Zeeland. This fee can be paid by cash, check, or Venmo.
Do you offer dog walking or dog sitting?
